Just meet us at our big red building located at 3253 SR 981, Saltsburg, PA 15681 and let us take care of the rest!

 

Once you check in, you’ll board one of our walk on Turtle top buses where everything you need to enjoy your float is already loaded for you including your kayak, life vest and paddle. Feel free to pack a small cooler for a snack along the way.

This 480 acre Lake is often overlooked but has much to offer paddlers of all ages. For example:

 

• The launch area at the lake is shallow with barely a noticeable current. This provides a safe and convenient place for first time kayakers or children to get some practice before heading for open water.

• The lake allows you to stay as long or as little as you would like as opposed to committing to one of the hours long river or creek trips. This comes in handy when you’re short on time. 

• Think your dog may like to kayak too, the lake is a good place to give them a try. 

• It’s popular for fishing and wildlife enthusiasts alike.

• Maybe you don’t like the idea of being too far from basic amenities? There are restrooms conveniently located near the launch.

As usual, when ready, a simple phone call gets you on our bus and headed back to your vehicle at our shop conveniently located next to Marshall’s Market where you can grab a snack or a quick bite for the ride home.

Shuttle Service Pricing (have your own kayak and need us to haul it for you)

You must call to place a reservation and will be required to pay $25 per person over the phone. We only shuttle kayaks that are no longer than 10 Feet and less than 29 inches wide.
